Growing up without Christ, I fell into toxic relationships, anorexia, and smoking. At 19 I became an unwed mother and felt utterly lostβ€”until a pastor told me God still loved me. ✝️ I surrendered to Jesus, quit dating, and asked Him to lead my life. A visiting single missionary lit a fire in my heart for the unreached peoples of East Asia.

God’s grace kept chiseling away: overnight He removed my smoking addiction, healed years of hardness, and walked my daughter Rachel and me through her frightening epilepsyβ€”six years seizure-free! πŸ™Œ As I learned to put Jesus before motherhood, He moved us from Colorado to Knoxville, Tennessee, carving deeper trust and restoring our relationship.

Now, with Rachel thriving on her own, the Lord flung open every doorβ€”finishing my degree, TESL certification, and acceptance with a missions organization bound for Taiwan. Twenty years later, His timing is perfect. My yes remains: β€œI’ll go anywhere, Lord.” 🌏
