At eight, I was saved at my little Baptist church, yet soon after, I discovered pornography in my father’s belongings. That discovery spiraled into a pattern of anonymous sexual encounters that left my marriage in shambles and my heart burdened with guilt. Over years of battling destructive habits, I sought help through counseling and involvement in disciple groups like Young Life. Through many painful trials and honest sharing in group Bible studies, I finally heard God’s gentle command to stop the cycle. By surrendering my secrets and embracing His unconditional love, I have been transformed. Today, I stand as a testimony of Jesus’ redemptive powerβ€”leaving behind a life of gay sex and porn, and stepping into a new identity in Christ.
