Summary
My name is Tara, and for years I sought spiritual fulfillment through New Age practicesโeverything from tarot cards and pendulums to psychic readings and channeling what I believed was my deceased friend. Yet my life remained marked by confusion, grief, and a desperate search for identity. Despite my Catholic upbringing, Iโd never experienced a genuine relationship with Jesus. Then, in 2021, the Lord opened my eyes to the darkness behind the โlight and loveโ faรงade of New Age teachings. I repented, tossed out my crystals and occult books, and began pursuing a true connection with Jesus Christ. Through deliverance prayers and renouncing the spiritual doors Iโd openedโlike communicating with โspirit guidesโโGod set me free from oppressive influences. Since then, Iโve nurtured an intimate walk with Him, daily learning to guard my heart and mind from deception. No longer bound by lies or fear, Iโm grateful for a faith thatโs not about rituals, but about a genuine, transforming relationship with Jesusโthe only one who could deliver me from the false promises of New Age and lead me into real hope and freedom.
