The Miraculous Power of Taking a Stand of Faith!

Summary

My wife Evelyn and I have always believed in putting eternity into the hearts of our children. Early on, we made a purposeful decision—homeschooling, enrolling them in Christian schools, and sending them to Superkid Academy and 1440—to nurture their passion for God. When Evelyn was pregnant with our first son, he was pronounced dead in his first trimester. Refusing to accept the doctor’s verdict, we stood firm on God’s Word and declared it impossible. The next day, all the tests confirmed that our baby was alive. This miraculous turnaround not only reaffirmed the truth of God’s Word but also set our family on a path of spiritual flourishing, from our children’s deepening relationship with God to their later accomplishments. Our testimony is a reminder that when you take a stand of faith—even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges—God can and does work miracles.

KCM Partners Gabriel and Evelyn Alexander have been blessed to witness their three children’s authentic love and passion for God.

Their loving relationship with God has come as a result of a very intentional decision Gabriel and Alexander made early on as parents. God instructed them to be very purposeful in placing eternity into the hearts of their children. They home-schooled, placed them in Christian schools, and had them attend Superkid Academy at Eagle Mountain International Church. This was an awesome opportunity for their kids to not only get plugged in, but also grow in the knowledge of the Word.

Year after year, the Alexanders remained faithful in attending church, and as their children grew, they began to attend 14forty. Their relationship with God had grown immensely. They realized the integrity of God’s Word—that His Word is truth and that it is settled in heaven. This was a revelation Gabriel and Evelyn had learned to believe and stand on back when Evelyn was pregnant with their first child.

In her first trimester, their son was pronounced dead. Gabriel’s immediate response to this was the Word of God. He refused to accept it as truth and firmly stood upon the Word. After testing, they received a call from the doctor in which he confirmed that Evelyn’s body had miscarried. Gabriel asked the doctor, “Have you ever had this situation turn around where the woman went on to have the baby?” and he replied, “No, not in all of my 30+ years.” Without any hesitation, Gabriel confidently responded, “We will be your first.”

Evelyn was experiencing everything they said she would—cramping, bleeding—but that didn’t matter. They stood their ground by faith, and they won the victory, giving birth to a beautiful baby boy! Gabriel and Evelyn have had the overwhelming blessing of watching their baby who was declared dead, graduate from Kenneth Copeland Bible College®. Praise God!
