I hit rock bottom and repented before my parents. Over that semester, God led me to Shelter Rock Church’s Alpha group on the Manhasset campus. Through His love and questions answered one evening, my heart was transformed—I wept for the first time and turned away from substance abuse. Now, I’m a sophomore at St. John’s University, free from my old temptations, encouraging others to surrender their worries to God’s love 🙏✨
