Summary
SummaryβIβm Ezana, and alongside my twin brother Fasil, we grew up in a village in Ethiopia where following Jesus meant facing hostility. Yet, our school became a beacon of hope πβ¨. Every day we learned not just lessons from books, but lessons of compassion and courage. Even when neighbors frowned or threats arose, our teachers taught us to love as Christ loves. Together, we helped plant gardens, shared meals with those who once shunned us, and prayed for hearts to soften β€οΈπ±. By Godβs grace, walls of fear crumbled, and little by little, our community began to embrace us. This journey taught us that faith isnβt just wordsβitβs action, kindness, and unwavering hope in Christβs transforming power π.β
Ezana and Fasil are twin boys from a beautiful village in Ethiopia. It looks like a wonderful place to grow up. But the village has long been an unwelcome place for followers of Jesus. And the twinsβ family and community know this firsthand, but that hasn’t stopped them from finding a way to show love to their community despite the persecution they face.
