Summary

When I was growing up, I never imagined that the life I knewβ€”the one steeped in the expectations of an Islamic householdβ€”could be radically transformed. I was born in Houston and then taken back to Iran as a child. At the age of six, during the turmoil of the Islamic revolution, my family faced uncertain times until we returned to Houston. Amid the challenges of feeling like an outcast in a foreign culture, God began to work in my life unexpectedly. An American Christian tutor, with a small New Testament Bible and genuine care, introduced me to a truth I had never known. Though raised to follow Islam, I gradually discovered that Jesus Christ was the only way to true salvation. My conversionβ€”confronting family opposition and a lifelong identity crisisβ€”became the turning point that healed my heart and reshaped my character. Today, I stand as living proof that embracing the truth of Jesus can overcome even the strongest cultural barriers and bring lasting salvation.
