Summary
SummaryMy life started off as a typical rebellious teen in the 70sβpartying, smoking weed, and drifting through life without purpose. But God intervened when a man named Randy simply became my friend and invited me to church. That night, I met Jesus, and everything changedβdrugs gone instantly π.
Yet, the journey wasnβt smooth. My wife and I joined a legalistic home church that left us exhausted and disillusioned. Eventually, I drifted back to rebellion, turning to alcohol to numb the Holy Spirit's conviction π. My marriage deteriorated as I isolated myself emotionally and spiritually.
The turning point came during a painful argument when my wife said, βYou donβt love me anymore.β That shattered me π. I realized I did love her. God began softening my heart. I cried out to Him one morning while holding a vodka bottle, begging Him to take it awayβand within two weeks, He did π.
But trials werenβt over. I lost my job and instead of panicking, we pressed into God like never before. Now, I just want to be in His will and live for what lasts eternally. I've learned submission, not control, is where true peace lies. God is faithful. He restores. π
Sid lived a life of rebellion. After finding Jesus things improved, but there were still major bumps in the road. Hear how Sid navigated life’s struggles with the help of the Lord.
