“My name is Hashmat Ali Ansari, and I am from India. I come from a Sunni Muslim family with five brothers and one sister. Growing up, I was raised in strict Muslim customs and traditions, but my journey of faith took a different path when I started reading the Bible. Despite being told that the Bible had been changed, I found that this was not the case after all. One day, while reading the Bible, I came across a verse that changed my life forever. In Matthew 16:13-16, Jesus asked his disciples, ‘Who do you say I am?’ and Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’ This raised a question in my mind: who is right, Mohammed or Peter? While the Qur’an states that Jesus was not begotten and no likeness of him can exist, the Bible portrays him as the Son of God and the Messiah. This realization led me to choose Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Mohamad Faridi was born and raised in a devout Muslim family in the country of Iran. After years of faithfully following the Muslim faith, his goal ultimately became to be a martyr in Jihad.
