My name is Kahli Nguyen and this is the testimony of the worst year of my lifeβ€”a year filled with overwhelming trials that nearly broke me. In 2014, what began as a promising year quickly turned into a cascade of disasters: I faced drug and alcohol addiction, endured emotional and verbal abuse, and even failed nursing school, shattering my dreams. I became engulfed in anger, bitterness, and deep depression, unable to feel God’s presence despite all my prayers. Then, during a moment of desperate prayer in my car on a busy highway, when my vehicle unexpectedly caught fire, I heard the reassuring voice of the Lord saying, “everything’s gonna be okay.” That divine intervention sparked a profound turnaround: I regained my scholarships, graduated nursing school, resumed my missionary work, and experienced the restoration of my family. Today, I stand as a living testimony of God’s mercy, declaring that even in our darkest moments, Jesus can bring hope and renewal.
