Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
We do not like pain and suffering in our lives, but that is how God shapes us. Many of us would not understand another person’s pain unless we have gone through similar pain ourselves. Listen to this video and look at how God allowed sickness and pain into Wou-Marie’s life, but also gave her the strength she needed to overcome it.
