I lost friends, was rejected by my family, and on at least two occasions was presumed dead by the roadside and by my village. In December 2018, my aunt brought meโ€”still dirty and drunkโ€”to the Vincentian Prayer House in Kisumu. When Father Joseph asked, โ€˜Do you want to be healed?โ€™ I whispered โ€˜Yes,โ€™ and felt the warmth and power of God wash over me. From that day on, Iโ€™ve never touched alcohol. My health and relationships were restored, and today I serve the Lord with joy and hope! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿƒ

He wasnโ€™t dead but people thought he was and prepared for his burial. Neck deep in alcohol, Henry Onyango was unaware of what was happening around him.
