Summary“I grew up as a rebellious girl in Naples. By age 12, I was already smoking; by 13, drinking; and by 18, I’d sunk deep into harder drugs. My life became one of isolation—I stole from my own mother just to feed my addictions 😔. One night, while drunk and hitchhiking, a kindly couple took me to an evangelical church. I thought they’d lost their minds, but my mother began attending. Two years later, desperate and on the brink of death at Santa Lucia, I cried out, ‘Lord, if You exist, save me or let me die.’ That night, I called Elijah—his name was somehow in my phone—and when I arrived at the Remar center, I experienced no withdrawal pain. I felt Jesus wash me clean in a single night! 🙏

For eight months, Elijah and I studied Scripture together. He helped me walk through the Word, and I realized Jesus’ blood had purified me. Slowly, I felt called to start helping others. Even after Elijah and I married, I continued his work at the Cades mission—serving the poor and addicts like I once was. When Elijah passed away from COVID, I was heartbroken, but God comforted me. I told my pastors: ‘I want to keep going.’ So I reopened the church, cooking food and serving spaghetti with fish to those in need 🍝. God’s plan became clearer: to rescue as many from darkness as He rescued me. I see countless men, women, and children pulled from addiction by God’s life-saving love. My faith keeps me going—Jesus came to save what was lost, and I see no limits for Him! ✨”

By all accounts, Angela should be dead. Instead, she’s tirelessly fighting to share God’s life-saving love on the streets of Naples.
