Summary

SummaryI’m Dave Genter, and three years ago on November 27, 2020, my son and I set out for a simple Thanksgiving ride near Leesburg, Virginia 🏍️. A truck collided with us, leaving both of us with above-knee amputations and a cascade of injuries: a month-long coma, traumatic brain injury, shattered pelvis rebuilt with titanium, fractured neck and ribs, a broken jaw, double vision, and more. I woke up in the hospital cast wondering why — and God answered: ‘It’s not why, but what I’ll do with you for My kingdom’ 🙏. From that moment, He opened doors: sharing faith with bikers, medical staff, and even the American Red Cross, and led me into full-time ministry at Calvary Chapel Lynchburg as General Manager of Equip FM and assistant pastor. Through every surgery, setback, and dizzy spell, I’ve learned to keep my eyes on Jesus, not myself, trusting He’s not done with me yet ❤️.
