I grew up in Roman Catholic CCD in Elgin, quizzing my teachers until I rebelled into a Baptist youth group across the street. I ‘agreed’ with Jesus intellectually but lived for parties—until my dad’s massive stroke forced me to confront that I didn’t truly believe. At 18, I cried out in bed: ‘If You’re real, take my life and use it.’ I slept better than I ever had, then plunged into real devotion—and it’s been a genuine faith journey ever since. 🙏💔➡️❤️
