Hi, my name is Alexis and I’m 26. In my testimony, I share the wild and painful journey from a troubled pastβ€”marked by a difficult family life, emotional abuse, and a misguided pursuit of healing through New Age practices like raiki, tarot, and astrologyβ€”to finding true salvation in Jesus Christ. I recount my years of trying to heal myself through secretive and deceptive modalities, even becoming a raiki master and a stripper to gain attention, until a life-changing encounter at a strip club changed everything. When my soon‐to‐be husband, Alex, who had recently embraced Christ, challenged my doubts by reading the Bible, I experienced a powerful conversion. I gave my life to Jesus on January 9th, 2022, quit the destructive lifestyle, and have since built a new life marked by genuine healing, marriage, and the desire to share the Gospel. My testimony is a call to trust in Jesus’s power to redeem and restore even in the most unexpected places.
