Summary

Summaryβ€œI grew up in a small village where our only place to worship was an open yardβ€”and stones were thrown at us simply for gathering. I remember the isolation: shops wouldn’t sell to us, neighbors shunned us, even teachers mocked my faith πŸ˜”. Desperate, I turned to God in prayer and clung to Scripture for strength. In 2014, I joined a discipleship program run by Open Doors local partners, and my faith was renewed and deepened πŸ“–. Since 2016, I’ve bravely shared Christ’s love with 50–60 women in my communityβ€”women who once hated me are now my closest friends in the Lord πŸ™Œ. I give all glory to God for transforming persecution into opportunity, and I pray He continues to use us to spread His hope across Bangladesh 🌸.”

After receiving discipleship training from local Open Doors partners, Jamuna from #Bangladesh has been teaching other women in her community about the love of Christ – and many have come to faith, including her former persecutors!
