My name is David Portugue. During a period of severe Covid fatigue and overwhelming anxiety, I experienced a deep crisis that revealed how I had placed my own fearsβ€”and even my precious childrenβ€”above God. In the midst of extreme vulnerability, I cried out not for rescue but for transformation: my prayer shifted from β€˜Save me’ to β€˜Make me just like You.’ This marked the beginning of a journey of repentance, where I surrendered my pride and idolatry. Through persistent prayer, the gentle yet powerful intervention of God, and the support of those who ministered to me, I discovered a new identity and renewed strength. Today, I stand as a testimony to the restorative power of God’s grace, having been remade, healed, and empowered to lead a life that gives glory solely to Jesus.
