Summary
SummaryMy name is Ronald, and in 2015, Islamist terrorists attacked Garissa University, and I was one of the targeted Christian students. I was shot, lost my hearing in one ear, and three of my fingers were amputated. I had dreamed of becoming a teacher, but after the attack, employers refused me teaching positions because of my disabilities. For a long time, I felt lostβunable to control my own life and discouraged by constant rejection. π
Today, I work on my parentsβ farm, trying to reconcile myself to this new reality. Yet God has been my strengthβreminding me that He cares for me beyond my brokenness. π Iβve come to see that my disability does not define me; instead, it has given me a special connection with God to walk alongside others who also feel unseen or discarded.
Since sharing this story on camera, God has opened a door and given me a teaching job! Thank You, Lord, for this restoration and for every prayer that carried me through the darkest days. I pray that others will see Godβs faithfulness in my life and be encouraged to trust Him, no matter their circumstances. π
