My name is Lily and I want to share how God rescued me from a life of isolation, abuse, and confusion. I grew up in a nominal Muslim family and faced deep loneliness when my parents separatedβ€”my mom remained in Iran while my dad moved to the U.S. One day, my dad introduced me to the idea of an arranged marriage with a man much older and controlling. Shocked and desperate for a better life, I cried out to God for a do-over. Later, visiting my parents’ home, I experienced an overwhelming sense of love and joy that reminded me of my childhood. A kind word about new beginnings in Christ moved me to surrender my life to Jesus. Though I endured 14 years in a toxic, abusive marriage, God miraculously set me free, giving me and my daughter the peace we had never known. My testimony is a story of rescue, forgiveness, and the transformative power of God’s love.
