Summary
I grew up a devoted Buddhist ๐ in Southย Korea, then moved to Boston and later California, still chasing nirvana but sinking into drugs, loneliness and depression ๐๐. After ten sleepless, drugโfueled days an evil โgrandpaโ spirit urged me to kill myself for โ50,000 fewer years in hell.โ I slashed my throat and plummeted into a horrifying, overcrowded hell ๐ฅโchains, demons, total hopelessness. My motherโs Christian friend gathered prayer warriors who cried out for me for eight hours ๐. On the operating table I heard Jesus say, โI love you Steveโno more drugs, no more Buddhism.โ I woke up alive, accepted Christ (ten times to be sure! ๐ ) and was set free. Though I later backโslid, Jesus showed me heaven, restored me, and filled me with joy and boldness ๐ฅ๐. Today Iโm a pastor, chaplain and evangelist telling everyone that nothing is impossible with God! โ๏ธโจ
