My name is Wendy. I struggled with depression, mood swings, and substance abuse, feeling an emptiness that nothing could fill. When my sister-in-law went into early labor, I cried out in prayer, realizing I had strayed far from God. Attending Starting Point classes at LCBC Church, I encountered a warm, nonjudgmental community that reawakened my faith. I experienced a profound conversionβ€”no more drugs, no more alcoholβ€”and my life was completely transformed by Christ. I am forever grateful for this renewed hope and the new family I found in my life group.
