In my mid-20s, my sister and nana begged me to try church. One Sunday, something in my spirit said, β€˜Go.’ I showed up with one foot in the world and one foot in the pew. Then COVID hit, unemployment forced me to pause, and God gave me the courage to plan a real exit πŸšͺπŸ™. I surrendered my massive house and fancy cars, moved into a humble apartment, and began leaning fully into Jesus. Today, I live simplyβ€”small apartment, fewer possessionsβ€”but I’ve never felt more free, at peace, or full of joy πŸ™ŒβœοΈ.
