From a random act of violence, John Sage’s sister was brutally murdered by two strangers. The agony of her last minutes of life haunted him for the next five years. He suffered trauma, rage, depression, grief, anger, and unforgiveness. At this time, through prayer, he learned to surrender his will to God’s will slowly. One day he happened to participate in a prison program where victims went into prisons and shared their testimonies. This awakened a profound healing experience in him, and the desire to extend this experience to others in need led him to start his ministry, Bridges To Life.
