I grew up facing severe challengesβ€”my dad was never in the picture and I lived with a single mom who, after losing her job, spiraled into drug addiction and prostitution, even living in a car. Despite these hardships, I was rooted in a big church in Jupiter, Florida, where I was embraced by a family that cared deeply about me. They offered me a choice to stay with them, providing the love and support I desperately needed. Later, I was invited to a high school camp in Tennessee, which opened my eyes to a welcoming community beyond church walls. Through small groups and youth activities, I strengthened my bond with God, transforming my life from a place of neglect to one filled with love and hope for the future.
