I woke up in the hospital, stitched and confused, asking God “Why me?” 💔. Shortly after, my older brother died from inhaling quarry dust, leaving me as the only provider for my sick, aging parents. I felt abandoned and almost walked away from my faith. But then a partner from Open Doors came to me, lifting my spirit and giving practical help 🙏. They supported me to begin raising animals, and little by little, I rebuilt my life. Even though I cannot read, joining a discipleship group taught me about God’s love and restored my hope 😊. Today, I stand with a new livelihood and a grateful heart, declaring that God has never forsaken me 🌟. Now, whenever I tell others who suffer, I say: “Turn to God and He will make a way!”

When Baher* (25) from #Egypt lost his arm – and later his brother – at the quarry where he worked, he was angry at God and almost walked away from his faith. But a visit from an Open Doors partner began to set Baher on the right track again.
