At 20, I collapsed under Godโ€™s overwhelming love in a prayer house and wept for 30 minutes as He spoke, โ€œMy son, I love you.โ€ From that moment, every lie and theft wounded my heart until I could no longer carry my criminal past. Though terrified, I surrendered all: I changed my number, deleted social media, and fasted, seeking Godโ€™s direction. Months later, I received acceptance to train in California at a ministry school. That experience deepened my faith and taught me to obey Godโ€™s voice. In 2019, my wife Esther and I returned to Tokyo with nothing but a visionโ€”to flip this nation for Christ. We planted Awakening Tokyo during the pandemic, and by Godโ€™s grace, weโ€™ve seen baptisms, salvations, and the foundation of a movement in Japan. โœจ๐Ÿ™
