Summary

SummaryI grew up fully immersed in church life—attending four to five times a week and knowing the gospel thoroughly. But deep inside, I knew I wasn’t truly saved. I struggled with sin, shame, and distance from God, hiding behind addiction to pornography and drugs. 😔 I even tried to run from everything—hitchhiking and biking across the country in search of identity and worth.

Despite moments of excitement, emptiness always returned. I tried to reason away God, clinging to evolution and doubt. But through the patience of my now-wife and a conversation with my brother, I discovered that salvation isn’t about emotional feelings—it’s about believing God at His Word. 📖🙏

I finally said yes to Jesus—not because of a warm fuzzy feeling, but because I trusted Him. That moment changed everything. God's grace chased me down, even when I was pushing Him away. Now, years later, I live in the confidence of His faithfulness—not my emotions. ❤️🔥

If the church doors were open, Jethro was there. He knew the gospel in and out, how sinful he was, what Jesus did on the cross, all of it. There was only one problem… He knew in his heart that he wasn’t saved.

If he really was a Christian, wouldn’t he act like it more? Wouldn’t he want to be around other Christians? Live a better life? Shouldn’t something be different?
