Through persistent prayer, God led me to Matthew 16:24–25, calling me to deny my ambitions, take up my cross, and follow Him. Though letting go of my plans and that relationship shocked everyone, I felt God’s comfort and guidance draw me closer each day. On August 14, 2013, I was baptizedβ€”my happiest, most peaceful momentβ€”marking the end of compartmentalized faith and the beginning of a surrendered, whole-life devotion to Jesus. πŸ™Œβœ¨β€
