Summary
SummaryIβm Steven, and I grew up in Houston wondering what it meant to be a manβsurrounded by alcoholism, gangs, and battle rapping. π€ I chased smoke, the mic, and a tough reputation, but inside I felt lost and father-less. At 14 I dove deeper into that world until one friend, Sergio, told me about a church service that talked about hell and the end of time. π¨ After weeks of searching, a stranger on a van corner asked me, βIf you died right now, would you go to heaven?β I realized I was living in both worlds and not truly saved. That very Wednesday I rededicated my life to Jesusβand everything changed. βοΈ Now I filter what I listen to and watch, run my own WRAP mentorship program for youth, and help others find their purpose. Iβve traded confusion for peace, loneliness for identity, and chaos for hope. π
this testimony addresses fatherlessness, gangs, broken homes, loneliness, battle rapping, purpose and identity issues. In an attempt to try to be a real man, Steven was looking in all the wrong places. Trusting and putting hope and faith in Jesus changed everything. A relationship with Jesus has brought purpose, significance, joy and restoration from these circumstances. He now runs his own business to help others find meaning and purpose in life.
