Summary“I still remember landing in East Timor in August 2009, filled with hope but quickly overwhelmed by daily struggles 😢. No electricity, no clean water, and I’d find my suitcase by the door, ready to leave if it became too much. Yet God’s call was louder than my tears. As I prayed, He gave me courage to stay and plant our very first cell group of four families. Though we faced persecution—neighbors hiding in the bush at the mention of our gathering—God continued His work. I witnessed Martina’s healing from a serious condition after our prayers, and that miracle ignited faith in her entire village. Over time, our small group grew to sixty or seventy believers 🙌. Despite loneliness and hardship, I’ve seen God’s faithfulness turn loss into greater gain. My hope is that more people here will encounter Jesus and experience the freedom I found.” 🙏✨

Hear from Agung, our missionary in East Timor, and his wife Andry, as they share their journey of leaving their home countries to answer God’s call. Despite the struggles and persecution they’ve faced, they continued to seek His Kingdom first, trusting the Lord every step of the way.
