After school, I chased the world—drinking, partying, even shearing sheep by day and drowning my pain by night. In 2003, standing alone on a dusty Queensland property, I aimed my rifle and suddenly heard the Lord’s voice say, ‘He is mine’ 🔫✨. That divine interruption sent me on a desperate search—through church pews and broken relationships—until a friend handed me an NIV Bible. Ecclesiastes struck my heart so deeply I couldn’t eat or sleep; I wept and repented, shedding 14 kilos in weeks 📖😭. In December 2006, freezing waves at the Newcastle baths washed me into baptism, and I rose with new life—remarried, a father of two, and passionately serving as a sheep-breeding consultant 🐑🙏.”
