I grew up father-hungry in the Bronx and Puerto Rico, determined to be the dad I never had. I built a career as an NYPD detective, but my marriage carried hidden baggageβ€”infidelity and spiritual emptiness. My wife and children found faith first, gently inviting me to church. One Sunday, conviction pierced my heart: I wept, begged God’s forgiveness, and committed to study His Word. In November 1998 I was baptized, and my lifeβ€”and marriageβ€”were forever changed.
