God’s Word pierced my heart as I studied Psalm 18:16–19, and I wept as I realized how far I’d strayed. He reached down and pulled me out of my brokenness, transforming my selfishness into a capacity to love πŸ’–. On September 10, 2018, I was baptized, and not only was I savedβ€”God used me to bring my mom into His family too. Today, I walk in joy, forgiveness, and a love I never knew possible πŸŽ‰.

I gave myself to men and pushed my family away.

I didn’t want to love people who were hard to love. I was selfish. I was also hard to love.

I saw that God loved all the people I considered hard to love and I saw that God loved me. This abounding love inspired me to give my life to Him.

God saved me from my worldly self. He delivered me from Satan into his wonderful grace.
