I gave my life to Jesus at age sixteen, believing my faith would spare me from difficult struggles. After serving in the US Navy and entering marriage at a young age, my relationship fell apart, leading to a painful divorce. I grew deeply angry at God, feeling betrayed when He didn’t rescue my marriage. Over time, I realized that my anger was creating a wedge between me and Him, blocking me from experiencing true healing. Through prayer, studying Scriptureβ€”especially the Book of Jobβ€”and learning to trust God’s greater plan, I recognized He was shaping my character through trials. By surrendering my hurt and anger to Jesus, I found renewed faith and discovered that God never abandoned me. Today, I share my story so that others can know His power to restore a broken heart, even when we’ve felt most distant and resentful toward Him.
