In the summer of 1983, we were excited for a family vacation up north, but early one morning, my husband’s call shattered our world—Andy had been killed in a car accident 😢. We drove home through tears and disbelief to Seaford, New York, surrounded by friends who prayed over us. A few years later, my oldest, Greg, who struggled with illness and AIDS, also passed away. In my darkest moments, I cried out and found comfort in Scriptures like Philippians 4:19 and Hebrews 13:5, reminding me that God supplies all my needs and never leaves me nor forsakes me 🙏. Over time, His promises carried me from despair to an unbreakable faith, and I pray that anyone with a broken heart turns to Jesus, the only true Comforter ❤️.
