Summary
My name is Cassidy Schroeder. In the summer of 2018, while attending a family Bible camp in northern Canada, my family and I encountered a black bear at our cabin. Although we initially went about our business knowing the bear was around, things quickly escalated when the bear began attacking. During the chaos, my husband Brad bravely intervened to fight the bear and lift me to safety. I suffered severe leg injuries as the bear tore into me, yet miraculously, I was treated at the hospital and recovered with no lifeβthreatening wounds. Throughout the ordeal, our camp community and church lifted us up in prayer, and I truly believe that God showed up, working miracles that not only saved my life but restored my faith.
