Summary
SummaryI grew up loving Jesus but fell into deep despair after my parents split, drifting into partying and eventually a destructive addiction. At 18, I faced an unplanned pregnancy alone in Kansas City, and though terrified, I sensed in my spirit that this child was a gift from God. Yet depression and substance abuse consumed meβescalating from occasional weed to meth, until one Christmas I woke blacked out, and my familyβs frantic search for my baby woke me to my brokenness. Reading Psalms 118 in my momβs bathroom, I wept as Godβs relentless love spoke life back into me. Over subsequent years, I journaled, prayed, and repeatedly stumbled, hiding in shame until I learned to run to Him in weakness. In 2016, I joined a local church community (RCC), found accountability, and experienced true freedomβlearning that God pursues us through every fall, teaching perseverance and growth by His grace. Godβs love isnβt one-and-done; itβs a journey of restoration, and I am living proof that His relentless love brings life from darkness. πβ€οΈ
