SummaryIโ€™m Andrew Brocker, and at 18, I stood on the brink of death in a Starbucks restroom. Over years, I chased highsโ€”marijuana, pills, cocaine, heroinโ€”until my body and spirit broke. In that moment of blackout, I turned my eyes to Jesus ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ and felt a peace stronger than any drug. My familyโ€™s prayers led my dad and brother to find me, alive by Godโ€™s grace. After two days in hospital and a psych ward misdiagnosing me with schizophrenia, I clung to Godโ€™s promise. Cold-turkey withdrawal was hell, but He carried me through hallucinations and pain. Medical marijuana helped me step off harder substances. Now, six years clean, I share my testimony, helping others at Recovery Centers of America and studying social work at ORU. Every day walking with Jesus gives me purpose. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ
