At my lowest—sleeping in a tent and shoplifting for food—I checked into rehab, where a friend handed me a Bible and called it my sword. Every morning I read Scripture under the open sky until the Lord led me to a church’s Restore program. Walking kilometers to get baptized, I met Pastor Gerald and found a new family. Today, I have a job, a car, and blessings one after another. I owe it all to Jesus—forgiving me, restoring me, and giving me hope.
