Summary

I was adopted into a loving home, but my father’s suicide at age five shattered my world. His bipolar disorder and alcoholism weren’t explained to me, and I internalized the pain, believing he left because he didn’t love me. Bullied at school, raped at gunpoint, and ignored by my mother, I spiraled into shame, guilt, and toxic relationships—including one with my rapist. Though I had once known Jesus, I was lost until a friend’s invitation to church began a slow redemptive journey. After being baptized, I found peace, committed to school, and became a life coach to help others. Still, life pulled me away again, and another abusive relationship pushed me to the edge. I sat with a gun in my hand, ready to end it all—until a phone call from a friend asking how to give her life to Christ jolted me back. God used her to save me. I rededicated my life to Him, forgave my abuser, mother, and myself. Today, I live to guide women to Jesus, raising a Christ-centered family and declaring God’s truth over my depression. My story is messy, but God has chosen me.
