SummaryI was born in Grine, Nebraska, and doctors told my parents I’d never walk or use my hands 😔. They even suggested I be placed in a state institution in Beatrice! But I refused to accept that label. Over the years I taught myself woodworking and built my own bedroom suite and entertainment center 🛠️. Jesus gave me this gift and strength to push past every limitation. Through Jacob’s Well ministry’s block parties and food giveaways, I found family and purpose in serving my neighborhood 🌭🍔. Faith moved mountains in my life, and now I walk in confidence and love, sharing God’s hope with everyone I meet 🙌✨.

People always told Garry what he couldn’t do. Garry didn’t listen. Though Garry’s arms appear handicapped, Garry doesn’t live his life like he has any handicap. Garry has been heavily involved in a ministry called Jacob’s well, where he helps many in need in his neighborhood.
