SummaryI’m Belinda Honey, and I grew up in a home filled with rejection and abuse 😒. At nine, my mother left and my father’s violence only worsened, driving me into drugs and ultimately into prison. One self-inflicted gunshot should have ended my life, but by God’s grace I survived and landed in the Dallas County Jail. There, a fellow inmate shared Jesus with me, and I surrendered my broken heart to Him πŸ™Œ. Baptized in an infirmary bathtub, I found new hope and purpose. Over the years I volunteered with Bridges to Life, ministering behind bars and seeing God’s healing power in many lives. Even when sorrow visited againβ€”losing my momβ€”I witnessed God’s protection and guiding hand. Today, living in Waco, Texas, I stand free, healed, and whole, giving all glory to Jesus, my Savior πŸ•ŠοΈ.

Within the cold confines of prison walls, Belinda Honey battled intense loneliness, echoing the rejection, abuse, and abandonment that marked her childhood. A glimmer of hope emerged when a friend shared the Gospel with her, but complete surrender to God took time. Having been to prison in and out a couple of times, her life took a transformative path toward healing, forgiveness, and wholeness once she made a life-altering decision.
