By age 21 I had money, lawyers, and a crippling addiction to painkillers and Xanax—until a cold-turkey quit landed me in a four-day coma. 😱 I traded pills for heroin when the housing crash stripped me bare, living only to feed my habit. A failed carjacking and a rampage ended with me in cuffs and on a judge’s docket. My lawyer sent me to Teen Challenge of the Midlands in Colfax, Iowa, thinking it might help. I boarded that plane as an atheist—and found Jesus instead. 🙌 Seven months sober, I see God’s hand from my childhood struggles to my darkest moments, and I’m walking in the call He’s placed on my life. ✨
