Summary
SummaryI grew up in poverty, selling vegetables and cigarettes amid the cockpit gambling rings. 💸 By my teens I was deep in addiction—stealing, fighting, and chasing wealth. When I landed a coaching job in Singapore through false documents, I still felt empty. But in 2013, at a CCF service, I met Jesus as more than a name—I encountered His presence, and He broke my chains. 🙌 I walked away from my sins, married my childhood sweetheart, and obeyed God’s call back to Manila with nearly no savings. I poured my life into discipling young men on the basketball court, and our annual camps saw many surrender to Christ. Then in 2020, our baby Hezekiah nearly died in the ICU. On the tenth day, He was completely healed—no tubes, no guarantees—just God’s promise fulfilled. 🙏 Today, I’ve served six years as a volunteer and five full-time, and I stand amazed: in poverty or provision, in sickness or health, it’s always right to bless His name. 😊
