Summary

SummaryI grew up treating faith like a holiday ritual, happy to skip church after Christmas Eve. πŸŽ„βœοΈ Film school in Southern California was my seminaryβ€”cinema was my god. But meeting a South Korean pastor who adopted twenty disabled orphans shattered my decorative faith. πŸŒπŸ‘Ά His life showed me God’s real power to transform. One night, overwhelmed by a simple sermon on the cross, I wept and surrendered my pornography addiction to Jesus. πŸ™πŸ“– Then my wife alerted me on our honeymoon to the Charleston shootingβ€”nine fellow believers dying in a Bible study. Their families, in the courtroom, forgave the shooter and even invited him to Christ. That act of grace compelled me to step into the project. πŸŽ₯❀️ Today I use filmβ€”my artβ€”to tell God’s story of redemption, from my own brokenness to the miracle of forgiveness in Emanuel.
