Summary

I grew up in a strict Muslim environment where every day was about memorizing the Quran and obeying rigid religious rules. Over time, as I encountered other cultures and the loving, transformative message of Jesus Christ, I began to question everything I had been taught. I eventually repented and embraced the Gospel, experiencing a complete turnaround in my lifeβ€”finding freedom from fear and oppression and a new identity in Christ. This testimony is a personal account of my journey from Islam to Christianity and a call to examine our inherited beliefs in the light of God’s unconditional love.

† STATEMENT OF FAITH : WHAT WE BELIEVE † The Bible † † We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We hold the Bible to be inherent in the original writings, infallible, God-breathed, and the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit was the divine author of Scripture (2 Peter 1:21). While still using the individual personalities of the human authors, the Spirit superintended them to insure that they wrote precisely what He wanted written, without error or omission.† We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit are the only paths to salvation for lost/sinful men and women. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within and guides Christians so they are enabled to live godly lives.
