Jesus is the only path to true salvation. We are all sinners. We have all done wrong (Romans 3:10). We are guilty in the eyes of God. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne (Psalm 89:14). He must dispense justice, or He is not good. There is nothing we can do, nothing we can give that could cover the payment required by our sins. This is why God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16). This is why Christ died on the cross and rose again. His blood is a sufficient sacrifice in the eyes of God the Father to pay for our sins. We must repent and come to Jesus as our Lord and Savior (Matthew 3:2). We must humble ourselves before the cross. Ask Jesus to forgive you. Ask God to indwell you with the Holy Spirit and adopt you as a child of God. Believe that Jesus died and has risen again for the the forgiveness of all those who believe in His name.

John 3:16-18
16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18) Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of Godโ€™s one and only Son.
