Summary“I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, under my father’s protective care, even though gunshots and danger surrounded us. When he passed away, I spiraled into homelessness and petty crime, struggling to find purpose. One night in Chicago, as I worked a merchandise table, a preacher shared the gospel in a way that spoke directly to my guilty heart—showing me that Jesus Christ was the only escape for my brokenness. From that moment, I devoured God’s Word, embraced Christian rap to share hope, and found new family in Christ. Today, I teach high school, travel on missions around the world, and cherish fathering my six children, all because Jesus changed me! 😊🙏🏽✨

Tawfiq Cotman, raised in a devout Muslim home, admired his father’s commitment to family and faith. Despite the challenges of living in a dangerous neighborhood, his dad’s guidance shaped Tawfiq’s morals and values. However, tragedy struck with his father’s early passing, leaving Tawfiq adrift in a harsh reality. Yet, amidst grief and despair, his journey led him to the paternal embrace of God the Father.
