I always struggled with an eating disorder from a young age. For 11 long years, I battled obsessive calorie counting, body image shame, and overwhelming self-hate. I even reached a point of despair and felt worthlessβ€”so consumed by the lies that I almost made my disorder an idol over God. But through the intervention of a good friend and a deepening relationship with the Lord during college, I experienced a profound transformation. One day, looking in the mirror brought a rush of peace and love where I finally saw myself as a beloved child of God. Today, I boldly declare that God healed me and lifted the heavy burden of shame from my life, and I share my story in the hope that you too may find healing.
